Garlic Scape Salt


I started with a couple of pounds of scapes, cut the tips off the scapes and made 3 batches with different salt levels in each, why? I don't know, why not.

prepare scapes but cutting just below the bulbil (flower) portion of the scape.


into the food processor, about 2 parts scape by weight to 1 part salt by weight, more or less.


onto the dehydrator and into the garage, the smell is intense.


all dried up and tucked away for the time being.
